Emergency Medical Technicians

EMT – Level 1: This is our entry level Medic. You will be supplied with one of our Accredited Experienced Medics stocked with a comprehensive trauma/sports medicine kit and ice. This is ideal for small school sporting events where resuscitation is not likely to be required.

EMT – Level 2: This is our original Medic role that you might be familiar with. You will be supplied with one of our Accredited Experienced Medics:

• Comprehensive trauma/sports medicine kit and ice
• Life Support Equipment - Including Defibrillator, Oxygen and Resuscitation Equipment

This is ideal for medium sporting or public non-sporting events.

EMT – Level 3: Feel safe in the knowledge that your patrons have immediate access to advanced life support without needing to wait for an ambulance to arrive. You will be supplied with an experienced healthcare professional who has been accredited by us with a minimum of Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance) or equivalent. These officers are equipped to ensure that your patrons are stabilised sooner. Skills available to these officers:

• Advanced Airway Management
• Advanced Life Support
• Advanced Management of Traumatic Injury
• Advanced Management of Medical Emergencies

It is important to note that should a medical emergency occur at your event, having an EMT-3 present may dramatically improve the clinical outcome, even if an ambulance arrives within 10 minutes. The decision to book an EMT-3 for your event may arguably save a life. Ideal for high-risk events:

• Motor sport (motocross, car racing, jet-ski, 4WD, rallies)
• Situated away from a major centre
• Large crowds expected
